I just started sparring a month ago, so take this review with that information. The Combat Corner shin guards have never slipped, and do a totally adequate job protecting me. I’d recommend them to a friend or family member. The staff helped me find the right fit, as well.

These insteps are a major upgrade over the previous pair of Combat Corner grappling insteps.

Both of our female fighters bought these when they needed their own pair. From the MMA sparring they’ve done, these have never slid off and still provide ample protection.

Though obviously not as protective as the step up that Combat Corner offers, they offer better mobility and don’t require as much adjusting after a scramble.

If you’re looking for your first pair of insteps, go with these.

These Shinguards feel like an extension of my body, they’re so light and fit so snug on my shins I feel like im not wearing anything. Unlike other Shinguards I’ve worn, Combat Corners definitely feels unrestricted, because of that,I’m able to pull off more of my spinning techniques. I truly can check a kick while pulling off a triangle ,all in the same round.

We purchased this pair of shin pads for our 14 year old son. He wrestles and trains MMA at my gym, Dirty Glove Combat Sports and Fitness. He also competes in submissions and grappling tournaments with me. Being that he is 14 he has smaller legs and this pair of shin pads is perfect with the elastic back. They conform nicely to his legs and they never slip or bunch up on him. He also has Osgood-Schlatter disease which affects the tendons in his knees. They swell and get really painful after a hard workout or tournament requiring them to be iced down. With this in mind we were looking for a really good pair of shin pads for him that would protect his knees from excessive abuse. This pair lived up to our standards and he loves them. Not only do they serve their purpose in the most effective manner but they look good too. He loves how uniform the design is and the colors. His favorite color is red, so anything Combat Corner is good for him. He already had a couple of his friends ask where we purchased them so that they can upgrade theirs. I am also going to recommend these to all the female fighters on my team because with the elastic back I think they will fit them better and stay in place easier than the Velcro ones that many companies produce. Thanks again Combat Corner for living up to our expectations as a professional fight family.

The only problem with these shin guards is they dont come in blue! Otherwise, perfect for MMA rolling and sparring.
