I bought one of these because the price point was right. I have owned many gis in 20 years of training but I have to say this is one of my favorite gis to train in.. The cut is nice and it shrank just enough to fit perfect ( a1, I am 5’7″ about 150). A friend of mine who is sponsored by that really fancy collectible gi brand even commented positively about the cut and how it is better than some of the comp style gis he owns.

More than just the fit, the quality and weight are really good. I had been using the sekai gis from another manufacture but was unhappy with the way the trouser fabric would pill. My classic kimono pants have held up great, no pilling and they are almost as light as the sekai pants but better quality.

Some people may this is not a quality gi because of the price but I would suggest trying it. It’s not fancy and you won’t be mistaken for wearing a shoyoroll but you get a great cut and quality gi for an unbeatable price. I have one now and will buy more in the future
